Why did the University end the relationship with FDY, and who is the new food service vendor?
Our decision to change food/dining service vendors was based on the failure of FDY, Inc., the former campus food service vendor, to perform pursuant to the terms of JCSU’s contract with it.
In a move to provide quality and innovation in campus operations, Perkins Management Services was selected as the new food service provider, effective June 2013. The company was selected for its superior quality management with innovative concepts, variety of healthy food choices and excellent customer service.
We appreciate the many years of service provided by FDY. We are excited about moving forward with Perkins to build and sustain assets for health and wellness on campus and in the Northwest Corridor.
